About Us and What We Do For You

Zzzone is a large high street contemporary photographic studio in the centre of Bristol.

Here at Zzzone we guarantee you will enjoy our fantastic portrait experience, and it’s suitable for any occasion. Whether you are celebrating a special event or just want a record of your family, you’ll find that a professionally taken studio portrait photograph will be a picture to treasure as your family grows and moves on.

We have three photographers who all take every effort to put you at your ease to make sure you enjoy the shoot and achieve the best results. The photographer will take around 100 photos, sometimes a few more, but really there is no limit during your time with us, so don’t be put off asking if you have any special images or ideas you would like us to try – we really love you to have your input!

Each shoot lasts for up to an hour – we want you to be as comfy and relaxed as you can be so you can enjoy the experience, having fun is definitely one of the most important elements to your shoot. Vickie is the Studio Manager here at Zzzone and she will be pleased to discuss any special requirements you may have and generally look after you.

Initially, we start by asking you, what you would like from the photo session. We photograph in colour and black and white and indeed many styles in between such as duotone and sepia. There is no rush at all, which is particularly important for children, who can feel intimidated in our large studio with large lights and technical equipment dotted around the place.

There is plenty of room for up to 20 people (if you’d like to bring that many!) Or if you would like to bring props, guitars, footballs, scooters or indeed any favorite toy, that’s fine! Our approach is very informal and often it becomes organised chaos in the studio where each of our photographers work really hard to capture something different and reflect the best of you and your family. If you have any questions please don’t be too shy to ask – we’ve probably been asked it before! Zzzone has two changing rooms, level access right through to the studio and disabled access and WC.

After your photography portrait studio session you will be invited back a few days later to view your amazing images on a large screen in our balcony viewing area. The viewing room is up just a short flight of stairs, but if this is a problem, please do let us know and alternative arrangements can be made for you. We have a fantastic range of products to display your wonderful images – from canvas wraps to contemporary deep block frames, high gloss blocks to beautiful frames – each will show you at your very best.
