Commissioned by King Sturge, the managing letting agents for brochure shots of new prestigious building just completed in the centre of Bristol known as One Glass Wharf. The building is primarily occupied by City Lawyers Burges Salmon.
This is my third visit to photograph the construction of the 2012 Olympic Park in East London. The panoramic photograph shows predominantly the Olympic Stadium nearing completion on the left hand side and the Aquatic Centre well under way on the right.
Construction work is progressing very well in northeast London. I spent a day there working at a major civil engineering contractor responsible for installation of all the services on the site.
The Clifton Observatory is the small tower on the left hand side which was originally a windmill built in 1766 to grind snuff. A brand new Sainsbury’s Superstore opens in Helston, Cornwall on 14th July 2010. My time slot to get as many shots as I can for the Architect’s is 6.00am until 8.00am. They have given me a very long list and guess what, it has only just stopped raining
